Life Membership:
A program for an eligible individual who gives a lifelong commitment to Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) and plans to be active in contributing to the ongoing and new programs of the organization. Life membership is available to any individual who meets the eligibility requirements and who applies to a chapter for membership. There are no dues requirements for such membership.
The life member receives all benefits according to the bylaws of the chapter joined and has equal voting rights with the other members. The life member is also entitled to: attend chapter meetings; receive a free subscription to PN; receive chapter publication; receive bulletins from the National Office; and hold office at the chapter and national levels. If you do not want to submit your medical records, you can have your physician fill out the attached Physicians Statement and submit it with your application.
Associate Membership:
A program for an individual who has a serious interest in Nevada Paralyzed Veterans of America (NVPVA) goals and programs as well as a desire to participate in them. While associate members can be helpful to the chapter, they cannot be permitted to vote, hold elected office, take over its leadership, change its direction, or in any way detract from the members’ prerogatives.
